We want to help you find talented artists, naturally
Everyone invested in music wants to find the next artist for their rotation. We also want the artists who deserve recognition to get it. Finding unknown artists is this site’s whole purpose. We want to find artists that cater to your music taste in a way that is natural, giving these artists an authentic audience.
Most of the songs and artists featured on this website are different types of alternative artists. Whether it’s Electronic Rock or Indie Folk, there’s a large range of artists that can be covered here. One of the things we enjoy most about this is that it’s not a new music page. New music will be covered sometimes, but the best part about smaller artists is going back through the years and uncovering their best works.
How do we find the right music for the right person?
Going on hunts for music can be extensive and time-consuming. We find artists who complement each other’s sounds. Their influences, contributors, collaborators and potential smaller artists who exist within the same niche. Starting on this page, you’ll have some bigger artists to find your sounds. As time goes on, you’ll delve deeper into other artists.
Not every artist on this site is for everyone, which is why we encourage people who are new to the scene to make sure they try different niches to find their sound. Many artists use overlapping genres, but often come out with an entirely different sound.
The picture above is the 2022 album ‘Duality’ by Luna Li. An amazing entry-level introduction to the dream pop genre, with a few grander elements thrown in. An example would be ‘Silver Into Rain‘ with a feature from Beabadoobee.
Our favourite broader genres
We recommend that people start by finding their favourite genres. Above, we have written up an overview of each one of these genres; each image will take you to it. There are subgenres within these, but it’s a good place to start. This site generally focuses on different types of alternative music, and these subgenres cover a lot of ground. Sometimes we have to make an exception for different genres if the song is that good though.
Artists we think you should start out with
Similar to the genres, we have articles talking about our favourite artists, and why they stand out. Each image will take you to these overviews, where you can begin to find your style. These articles include standout tracks, artist backgrounds, hand picked playlists, and more. These are slightly larger artists whom we view as prominent figures within their subgenres. Some of them have emerged recently, and others had their breakout further back.

Overview
Title: WHOEVER YOU WANT ME TO BE (NO MORE)
Released June 5th 2026
WHOEVER YOU WANT ME TO BE (NO MORE) is expected to be the final single before Ivri’s next EP. This follows her last single, ‘Noise’, which was released on March 6th 2026. Details surrounding the EP haven’t been disclosed publicly. Despite this, through social media and recent tour dates, we can be sure it’s coming. As stated on her artist page, she doesn’t intend to stay genre-specific, and this new release continues to prove that true.

New release
The last track covered on the new music page was ‘Multiplied’ by Luna Li, and in a strikingly similar fashion, Ivri’s release covers similar topics, but from a completely different angle. The core theme here is identity, but specifically how a person can tend to alter their identity to appease someone else. Forcing yourself to meet certain characteristics to satisfy the other person, even if there is no natural connection. This form of ‘love’ can end up being deceptive to both people within this relationship, and once the facade can’t be kept up any longer, it can all come crashing down. During all of this, you can create a loss of identity, losing who you truly are to the relationship. However, I also believe this song to be self-critical. I think the artist is acknowledging the fact that although the other person has set expectations outside of her means, she’s still acted deceptively. Labelling herself ‘the flower that blooms the obsession’ is directly taking blame for creating this image that has led to mutual obsession. ‘I am the host that will spread the infection’ further adds to this, saying that her decision is the root of what caused this. Reflecting on both sides of the story, the message of the song comes back to the fact that there was nothing else that she could do. At the expense of her own mental health, she attempted to make both sides happy, but the other person’s differing needs and overall ignorance had exhausted all of her options.
Sonically, this track takes a very different approach to ‘Noise’. Her typical Electro-Rock style can still be heard, but overall this track is much more pop-based than prior releases. Heavy distortion and stutters that are found predominantly in Hyperpop can be heard too. Although she has had minor influences of Hyperpop before, this does feel like another new direction, leading this track to fall into yet another new category for the artist. A very melodic track which has some of her catchiest segments so far makes me believe that this song will stream well. It’s taking lots of the staple Alternative influences and is attempting to blend them into a more accessible style.
